Sr Project Management Specialist

The Project Manager is tasked with managing all aspects of a project from kickoff to customer and service handover. This includes responsibility for system performance while meeting quality, schedule and financial objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take ownership of projects and exceed internal and external customer expectations

Meet the cost, schedule and performance goals set by the company and customer

Meet or exceed cost/profit targets for assigned projects

Manage customer relations at the project level

Understand technical aspects of the project to set priorities for engineering, production and partner companies.

Assure specifications are clear at the start of a project and achieved and recognized during the performance of a project.

Report on project status on a regular basis

Handover project to Service Department with all necessary documentation for on-going support

40 External communication and coordination with customer concerning project details

35 Internal communication and coordination of design, procurement and assembly efforts

25 Manage, document, and report project specifics

YOU MUST HAVE

5 or more years in project engineering or project management on complex technical projects

Technical degree in engineering or equivalent

Team player - able to work with all departments within USS and with customer contacts

Must be flexible to travel up to 20%

Internally motivated to satisfy all customers, logical, technically competent, strong interpersonal skills, independent, strong work ethic, bright and quick learner, effective decision maker, innovative, and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
