Intelligrated (now part of Honeywell) is seeking a Controls Engineering Supervisor for our growing team in Mason, OH! This is an exciting position and an opportunity to join our Project Engineering team.

The Controls Engineering Supervisor at Intelligrated (now part of Honeywell) is responsible for the overall performance of sold customer projects insuring that projects are successfully delivered (on-time, within budget and with quality). The Controls Engineering Supervisor assists the Controls Engineering Manager in financial and operational effectiveness of the engineering department. In addition, the Controls Engineering Supervisor should ensure project budgets are maintained by coordinating with Application Engineering to ensure quotes are accurate and concepts/scopes are reviewed and clear, and by tracking throughout the project lifecycle. The Controls Engineering Supervisor should assist the Controls Engineering Manager in the insurance of standards (product and process) are kept current and are followed by the team. This position also maintains technical oversight over the solution and provides technical guidance to team as and when needed.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

·Reviews customer SOW/RFP/RFQ and specifications for applicable projects·Ensures proper resources are assigned to all project related activities

·Audits file structures to ensure all project documentation is collected and stored per process; audits engineering tasks, quality, process utilization, and effectiveness of the department

·Monitors and ensures site readiness for all discipline; resolves any conflicts; monitors site reports for all disciplines and resolves any conflicts or issues that arise based on dependencies, delays, or issues

·Monitors and manages (if appropriate) all internal & customer created issue lists

·Coaches associates to deliver to project expectations as defined by project processes

·Tracks and provides training as it relates to defined project and business processes

·Reviews and approves accepted project budgets, scope and schedule; ensures any conflicts are resolved and the project lead understands the project budget, scope and schedule; ensures proper documentation of budgets, schedules and scope.

·Reviews and approves risk

·Validates design and ensures proper internal and external approvals are achieved prior to engineering start.

·Audits engineering task, quality, process utilization and effectiveness of the group.

·Ensures that commissioning tasks are executed in the most efficient manner.

·Ensures that department has the capabilities needed to execute commissioning.

·Participates in weekly staff meetings with department staff and Controls Engineering Manager.

·Attend “lessons learned” post-mortem engineering review, ensures all appropriate takeaways are implemented and/or corrected to improve department process and practice.

·Maybe required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Graduate from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering,

or equivalent experience. 5 or more years of applicable controls, automation and electrical engineering experience required.

- MS Office

- Excellent written, verbal and consultative communication skills with the

ability to successfully interpret and communicate business needs between

internal and external groups in a clear, focused and concise manner
