We are currently recruiting for a seasoned Account Manager for our Security and Fire business, selling market-leading Honeywell fire alarm systems into installers. You will be covering a large geographical patch in the North of the UK, from Sheffield up to Scotland. The ideal candidate will be based on the M62 corridor.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join and grow our Security and Fire business. Working with two of our leading brands (Morley and SMS), you will be THE Honeywell point of contact for our existing customer base of over 100 fire alarm installation businesses. Your remit will be to drive the business forward, building on the existing accounts and even growing the portfolio when the opportunity arises. You will have two routes to market with market-leading brands, which will allow you to drive significant and rapid growth, and allowing you to reach high levels of credibility and a strong reputation in the Fire Alarm industry.

Responsible for the execution and achievement of the Morley and SMS combined regional sales objectives

Responsible for the development of specific customer accounts

To ensure that account opportunities are maximised and maintained through strong relationship building

To carry out new business development, and instigate account plans to generate new leads and business growth for individual customer accounts

To provide accurate order and sales forecasts on a monthly basis

YOU MUST HAVE

  • A sales and marketing individual with a proven sales track record Ideally with a good level of experience in the Fire Alarm industry and a good understanding of BS 5839 part 1 2013.
  • Ability to influence people to win product sales.
  • Proven track record in account management.
