Honeywell Project Lead - Mobile in Hyderabad, India
This is an exciting HTS opportunity supporting the Mobile CoE group in leading the Mobile CoE App team. The purpose of the Project Lead role is to ensure Mobile CoE technical & People leadership excellence as an End State team addressing multiple products in collaboration with stakeholders ranging from Product owners, HUE, Operations, Web services and various scrum teams. The role demonstrates thought leadership across Honeywell in one or more technical/people disciplines and takes ownership for identification of technical talent and coaching cross functional teams in technical capability development. This role, of Project Lead, includes the following responsibilities: • Technically well-grounded within the assigned area of work – Mobile app development and capable of reviewing direct reports’ technical competency. Aligns group’s objectives and priorities resources based on budget requirements to meet scheduled deliverables. • Good knowledge of agile practices and agile rituals and advocates the team to follow agile process for successful delivery. • Good attention to details and ability to draw meaningful metrics for successful delivery of program. • Strong advocate of data and metrics for various decision making processes. • Good understanding of Mobile App development process and challenges in the domain. • Knowledge of Aero domain will be an added advantage. • Provides objective, fact-based performance evaluations and follows through on HPD process for all reports. Sets career development and training plans for individuals. Provides timely recognition for subordinates and peers. • Capable of translating organizational initiatives to individual contributors. Serves as a resource for process/project information. Sets goals and objectives for team members, and provides candid, timely feedback to employees regarding performance. • Contributes to project level budgeting, regular group staff meetings, technical reviews, program management. • On-time delivery of project/group objectives. Influences project level productivity. • Project/group level tasks, resource planning, cost and schedule performance for immediate group/project • Proficiency in task planning and organization, tactical/internal focused. • Successfully implements site wide business process or directly supervises an operational work group and unit budget. • Routinely applies and encourages other employees in the application of company processes, practices and values. • Ability to work with others, listens to other viewpoints. • Bachelor in Engineering with 8 of relevant Engineering Design, Development, Testing, Build and Release Management and Program Management experience.
