Product Manager - Safety Products India
Design solutions to drive safe living and quality of life
This position will be responsible for product management and product marketing of the Safety Products Portfolio in the target markets in the India region. The goal of the position is drive aggressive
and profitable product line growth by developing and executing on its strategic
roadmap. The roadmap will involve understanding the key end-users needs,
segmentation, designing and managing product portfolio, driving E4E NPI and
India specific localization, executing robust value and tactical pricing, providing sales support and training, and
driving tactical marketing programs
Will own the revenue and profit targets for the product line for the India region and interface globally with product management of other HON regions and other regional functions
Develop a strategic and execution-ready product roadmap combining the market demand and our supply options and strong business/financial rationale
Conduct market assessment, segmentation, and identify target segments/verticals/offerings
Track market and competitors to pro-actively refine strategies to continue profitable growth
Define the core skus, product positioning, competitive assessment, and pricing in the portfolio
Identify key portfolio gaps and roadmap to fill the gaps via localization and imports
Lead the NPI/VE/CE projects with x-functional teams (Sales, Engg, ISC) to fill the key product gaps and new products to drive profitable growth.
Train sales and technical teams on product features,value drivers, and sales pitch – prepare/package the relevant documents and test data to support the sales and specification process
Be the strategic pricing leader for the product line - revise the regional price lists based on competitive pricing, our value proposition, our product line strategies and positioning
Function as the key approver for the deal-based price discounting requests
Improve Inventory optimization across the product category via developing a strong SIOP process understanding and driving the process across various functions.

in Science or Engineering preferably with PG in Marketing Minimum
4 - 6 years of commercial experience in a marketing position with demonstrable
marketing knowledge in B2B environment. Candidate
with prior experience in Safety products, HSE, and/or key verticals of O&G,
Metals & Mining, Auto, Pharma will be preferredPreferably
have multinational experience: ability to effectively manage across the region
and keen understanding of western ethical business. Demonstrated
success in product development/launches and end-to-end execution of marketing
analytical skills - able to connect the
overall direction to details and vice-versa using data and qualitative
written, oral, and technical communication skills, including presentation
experience to large and diverse audiences Self-starter,
structured thinker, ability to work collaboratively across functions/regions,
influence others, multi-task, and work with stretch goals and deadlines. Entrepreneurial,
start-up, and business development skills an advantage. Strong MS office skills
