Application/System Sales Engineer

As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for driving
specification growth of Honeywell Building Automation Solutions and supporting
products by building strong relationships with consulting and specifying
engineers. This position offers a virtual opportunity.

This position can be located in any of the following: Denver, Phoenix, San Jose, Portland, Salt Lake City, UT, or Redmond, WA
Develop and create demand for our solutions and products by
cultivating strong relationships with consulting engineers, end-users,
and other non-purchasing accounts.
Write and influence specifications for consulting engineers and
Keep informed of new consulting engineering and end user projects
and provide leads to territory sales reps.
Take a lead role in the development of Continuing Education Unit (CEU) lunch & learn modules and conduct training programs.
Work closely with Product Management to develop master specifications for new and existing products.
Work on committees or special projects as requested.
5 Years of proven track record in consulting engineering, or 5 years applicable experience in the HVAC or related technical field.
Strong technical aptitude and problem solving skills.
Strong communications and presentation skills.
Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful client
Commercial HVAC and energy optimization selling experience.
Influencing and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix-team environment.
A diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
Strong business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and
Experience selling in contracting environment.
