The Buildings LOB is a division of E&ES, going to market through multiple brands and channels, leveraging common technology yet differentiating to meet unique market, brand and channel requirements. The Direct Channel business delivers energy management, operational efficiency and guest comfort solutions to end users in the retail and hospitality vertical markets in North America and to affiliates and systems integrators on a global basis.
Providing leadership to a cross functional team of direct and matrix reporting employees, the Direct Channel Regional Marketing Director will be directly responsible to provide end to end oversight of the direct channel business to drive profitable growth. In this position, the Marketing Director must develop a business strategy, drive business performance, and provide overall cross-functional leadership to drive alignment to business strategies. This position will report to the VP/GM of the E&ES Buildings LOB and will actively contribute to overall strategic planning, leveraging investments across all businesses and managing Honeywell's overall market positioning.
Essential Job Functions: * Manage a high performance team that takes ownership for delivering short- and long-term financial performance commitments.
Refine the Strategic Plan for the Partner Channel business to clearly define the business roadmap, break through strategies, product portfolio priorities, channel strategy and channel management activities and competitive landscape.
Maintain or achieve a leading position in each vertical and geographical market with an appropriate product, pricing and channel strategy.
Ensure cross functional coordination between sales, project operations and manufacturing for business to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue commitments.
Develop new and enhance existing relationships with end users, building/property owners, and specifying engineers.
Provide leadership and support to secure key projects.
Provide active leadership necessary to drive critical programs/projects to successful completion
Champion Customer Experience improvement projects; actively map the customer journey and drive continuous improvement to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty and simplify doing business with Honeywell.
Initiate/oversee operational productivity, continuous improvement and the application of productivity tools (HOS, Six Sigma, CP/S, etc.) throughout the factory and business teams.
Manage Honeywell’s portfolio of product/system brands to appropriately position the offerings to the market and in compliance with Honeywell’s long term brand strategy.
Support 30-40% travel.
BA/BS in Business Administration or Engineering Field.
10 years of business leadership experience including P&L exposure and accountability.
5 years experience leading projects based business.
5 years experience establishing annual operating plans.

Strategy and execution skills with 10 year's proven ability to operate strategically, tactically, and operationally.
Superior presentation and communication skills. Able to effectively speak to large, diverse audiences and small, focused audiences.
Able to develop and deliver a business recommendation to senior leadership and effectively address questions, concerns and challenges to the recommendation.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to work with diverse customers, sales through direct and affiliate channels, and a consistent track record for meeting and exceeding objectives.
Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and sales pipeline projections and makes decisions accordingly; Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and cost-of-goods assessments.
High degree of business acumen with orientation toward process/systems, speed, cost, quality and creating customer value and results.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills, ability to motivate and foster culture of high performance, cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and build relationships across functional areas at all levels in the organization.
Proven ability to maintain positive employee relations and maximum productivity by fostering open communication throughout the organization.
MBA strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
