We are currently recruiting for a seasoned Account Manager for our ADI business, selling market-leading Honeywell systems into installers. You will be covering a large geographical patch in the South/South West of the UK.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join and grow our ADI security business. Working with our industry leading product portfolio, you will be THE Honeywell point of contact for our existing customer base. Your remit will be to drive the business forward, building on the existing accounts and even growing the portfolio when the opportunity arises. You will be joining a leading global brand that has won Distributor of the Year consecutively for the past 9 years.

Key responsibilities

To have a working technical knowledge of security products and the ability to sell and promote the Company and its products.

To be aware of new innovations in the market through technical training on a regular basis and attending product seminars.

Ensure regular contact with the Technical Support team; involving them in tenders, site visits & quotations.

To achieve agreed set financial area targets on a monthly basis.

To develop, maintain and improve standards of service to your customer base.

To successfully resolve customer queries through liaising with other departments within ADI Global quickly and efficiently.

Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.

Periodic Dashboard reviews with Key clients.

To meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators with regard to: Sales Activity; Target Accounts; Sales and Profit; and Growth Strategies.

To liaise with the internal technical support team and other departments within the Company, to ensure that each division’s objectives are met.

To maintain an excellent working relationship with other departments, Regional Business Managers and staff to support business development and retention.

To ensure that all the administration, records and reports are completed to agreed requirements and deadlines.

What are we looking for?

We want a driven Account Manager with a proven track record of building a strong sales network across business critical accounts. You will have a strong level of experience selling products or solutions within the Security industry (i.e. CCTV; Access Controls etc.). Also, this role will involve a significant amount of travel throughout the South Western territory of the UK, and therefore you must be willing to travel and have a valid UK driving licence.

Proven track record of selling technical products within the Security industry.

Strong PC literacy

Good understanding of security system design at component level.
