Honeywell Proposal Specialist in Bucharest, Romania

Goals: • Prepare and create responses to customer’s requests for EPS proposals (Gas and Liquid Regulatig and Metering Stations), estimates and information as directed by sales and operations teams. • Deliver Proposals of the highest quality possible and continually seek out ways to improve the way we serve our customers. • Leverage systems and tools to accurately maintain estimates, proposals, requests, responses and supporting documentation. • Deliver proposals and estimates on time. Key Deliverables: • Proposals and estimates are captured within Siebel, as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). • Complete cost estimates and proposals within the required time. • Accurate portrayal of costs in the form of cost estimates. • Propose technical and / or commercial alternatives that enable the lowest compliant bid while providing the highest value to the customer. Responcibilities: • Adhere to the P&E Standard Operating Procedures. • Study RFQ and other documents / drawings supplied by customer and propose a solution which fits technical & commercial requirements. • Become aware of and technically competent with Honeywell EPS (Elster Precision Solutions) offerings • Estimate EPS equipment and services using the relevant tools. • Identify 3rd party Packages / Equipment / Buyout items and engage Sourcing to obtain sub-vendor Technical and Commercial offers. • Identify Packages / Equipment from other Business Units, i.e. Advanced Solutions, Building Solutions, Terminal Automation etc. and engage the proper Business Units to obtain Technical and Commercial offers. • Working with Sourcing, Evaluate the Technical and Commercial Offers received from Third Party Vendors and Honeywell Business Units. • Complete a full proposal with the required scope of supply/documents (some of them could be prepared by other functions, Business Units within the organization or by sub-contractors). • Create and submit the e-GAP. • Respond to post-proposal technical queries/clarifications and update the proposal, if necessary. • Prepare booking package as per the P&E SOPs when project is awarded. • Be a collaboration agent for sharing and standardizing of best practices. • Continuously develop knowledge of new product/releases of Honeywell portfolio.

Skills: • Relates to and understands the client’s requirements. • Microsoft Office tools and other business applications knowledge. • Technically minded and an integrative thinker. Able to propose alternative solutions, inside and outside the Honeywell scope of supply. • Fluent in oral and written English. Other languages are beneficial (Spanish, Russian, German, Portuguese, French and Italian). • Should be able to work with others in a team environment. A true team player. • Should be able to deal with International clients. • Self-motivated with good communication skills. Knowledge: • An Engineering Degree. • Knowledge of Honeywell portfolio. • Knowledge of Natural Gas and Oil business. • A well-developed sense of the customer's business and their requirements. • Understands the unique value proposition of Honeywell's offering. • Knowledge of competitor's solutions and value propositions. Experience: • 3 - 5 years process automation or and / or solutions experience. • 1-3 years field equipment experience. • Industrial application experience. • Industrial application experience.
