Honeywell is now commercializing a family of offerings with similar performance properties as the materials they replace, but with significantly lower global warming potential. For example, Honeywell’s new automobile refrigerant, Solstice™, has a global warming potential of less than 1, compared with 1,300 for the refrigerant found in most cars today.
