The QAT Manager will report into the BFA QA/Testing Director and will be

responsible for establishing End-to-End Testing solutions & Built-In-Quality

for the Customer and Commercial Excellence domain and the Business Intelligence

and Analytics domain on an ongoing basis. This role will partner with the

respective Application Tower Leaders to ensure that the right level of testing

is applied for the projects / platforms based on the QA Testing Playbook.

He/She will also be accountable for the quality of the products that leave the Enterprise

Wide Apps (EWA CCE & BI/A) team by leveraging the team (in-house and

outsourced) to ensure coverage and completion of the prescribed testing required

for the projects.

Key Responsibilities

·

Increase adoption and coverage of Core Testing Services in the EWA CCE &

BI/A Domains responsible and ensure the reduction of post-release defects to<0.5% and cost of quality to<30% of project cost through

a.

Increased coverage of testing

b.

Increased % of regression test automation

c.

Defect removal efficiency

d.

Cycle time reduction for testing efforts

e.

Efficiency to maintain a positive book of records

·

Establish an MOS for quarterly performance and security assessments for

business critical applications in the Application Domains

·

Work closely with Performance Engineering & Security Testing team to

ensure all the vulnerabilities are remediated prior to the release.

·

Responsible to maintain a positive cash flow of the test operations and

achieve >10% efficiency of test operations year over year

·

Increase adoption of heuristics evaluation, cloud readiness and API readiness

to influence application design upfront to enable adoption of contemporary

technologies

·

Own the data that goes into the monthly Quality Management Board

consumed by the senior leadership

·

Responsible for planning, monitoring, and control of the testing

activities and tasks based on the overall project plan.

·

Finalize test templates, tools, reporting and communication format based

on the nature of the project. Standardize the tools for test reporting, test

management, test automation etc. and educate the team as required to be able to

use those tools. Plan knowledge transfer sessions if required for team members/

testers for the tools they would use. Plan communication and get sign off on

MOS for test cycles.

Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and

execution of the test cases, test procedures and test plans. Plan and co-ordinate

creation of test scenarios and test data for each test cycle. Put together the

test plan after discussions with the test team and have it reviewed and

approved by the management/ development team. Level set the stakeholders the

plan for test cycles and communicate expectations

Single point of contact to provide phase gate signoffs for the projects

executed in the respective domains.

·

Ensure proper documentation of test results and quick resolution of

issues during test cycles.

·

Prepare a test exit summary report and share with all stakeholders at

the end of the test cycle. Coordinate test sign off from each of the

stakeholders at the end of each test cycle.

Basic Qualifications

·

Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Information Technology;

·

12-16 years of hands-on experience in Information Technology, with more

than 12 years in Testing and at least 10 years at the capacity of a Test Leader

·

Should have led and managed Testing

Teams for large scale deployments

·

Expert level of understanding of

the various tools, technologies & methods for testing, with an

uncompromising focus on quality

·

Should possess hands-on working knowledge with testing tools like HP ALM, QTP, Selenium, Load Runner, SOAP UI, SeeTest,AppDynamics, HTTP Watch, Burp Suite etc

·

Should have sound understanding and knowledge around testing tools, automation

tools and test architecture and demonstrated willingness to roll up the sleeves

to learn new technologies.

·

Should have hands-on experience of developing and executing test

strategies around performance & security testing

·

Good written and oral

communication and articulation skills

·

Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools with sound knowledge of data analysis

and visual management

·

The ability to be proactive, intuitive and patient while dealing with

non-technical end users

·

Good negotiation skills and the ability to influence decisions

·

Have solid understanding of project life cycle

·

Ability to understand how testing fits into the project scope

·

Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills

·

Ability to coach and motivate others
