Honeywell Engineering Support Specialist I in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
Honeywell is hiring an Engineering Support Specialist for our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico facility.
The position offers a tremendous opportunity to participate in the expansion of the Engineering Hardware Team working on multiple new development programs including HTF, COMAC, Irkut, MP3 and others. In the position, the candidate will work with cross functional and cross Honeywell site teams to ensure that all hardware required for internal Engineering and Honeywell Customer
development meets delivery milestones.
Key Responsibilities: * Generate and manage hardware orders within SAP and coordinate the reporting requirements with the Project Engineering Program leads. * Coordinate material expedites, prioritization, allocation and critical response to customer requirements and Engineering needs. * Reconciles budget forecast for hardware spend with actual hardware plan provided by development engineering group. Reconciles actual program hardware expense with deliveries. * Manages portfolio of orders on a program such that the orders are properly received and transacted in SAP. Provide all required material availability and status reports for material delivery for both internal and external procured material. * Support program objectives through participation in line‐of‐balance (LOB) and material change process reporting. * Validate Engineering Project demand to ensure SAP cost commitments are in line with program budgets. * Work with the ISC to ensure all NPD demand is maintained in project stock and all plant stock orders are moved plant inventory in a timely manner. * Responsibilities will focus on utilization of SAP as it pertains to Engineering Material Procurement Processes within the engineering organization. · Read, write and speak English · Must also be willing to travel, as travel to one of our facilities in the US may be required in support of a program or project. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university on Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or related Engineering degree. * 1 year of experiencewith Microsoft Office tools (MS Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint). * Due to export control regulations, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status.
* Must complete the highest level of education, no more than 12 months prior to hire date.
